review about the GIBS

the course curriculum is very much relevant to today's corporate world. the curriculum is set by our faculties itself and is very much related to the current requirements of the corporate we have both theoretical and practical teaching happening alternatively which helps us to understamd the comcepts easily the frequency of the examination is at the correct level like we have only one midterm exam and then we have 1 month gap for our trimester exams.

the total fee is 9,50,000 which we can pay in 3 installments 50,000 we have to pay in the begining as a security deposit later the 9,00,000 is split into 3 installments and exams fee must be paid separately few days before the trimester exam. the merit scholarship is upto 35,000 depending upon the marks scored by us in the entrance exam. and sports scholarship is also availablke but im not sure of how much that is.

the overall campus life is good even though our campus is small we never fail to enjoy. but our college just inaugrated the new campus located at the bannergetta road, which is very much big when compared to this im currently not aware of the name of the annual fest we conduct but we do conduct a lot of small fests every month The library is pretty much equipped with all the books which we need for our studies and we also have access to e-library where we can get anybook available in our library. there are many clubs in our college each dedicated to different field such as finance, marketing, management fest, cultural, CSR and soo on we have many sports in our campus such as basketball court, shuttle court and in our new campus we hav basketball, shuttle, cricket, football, swimming, volleyball etc

i applied to the flame university which is located at pune it has one of the best infrastructures in india the college has verything but the reason why i didnt choose that college was the placements, the placements were very less when compared to the fee they charged and i also applied for isbr and got selected bu i chose GIBS over ISBR because of their IRE program they hav i was very much impressed by the IRE program the admission process was an online interview and then a GD round and then we were selected. the minimum eligibility criteria is that we need to have a valid and a decent score from our entrance exam.

currently at my batch there are 200 students and there are more than 10 faculties for our batch alone and totally there are more than 20 faculties for PGDM & BBA. The faculty who inspired me the most would be our marketing faculty Mr. Abhiroop who has immence knowledge and experience in the field of marketing. i have personally learned many things from his lectures and mentoring. There are no specific faculties whom i dont like. We would have trimesters and we have one midterm exam per trimester thats it, both the trimester and the midterm exams are very easy if we be attentive in the class, almost all the students would pass the trimester exam, the failure rate is very less.

our campus is a little secluded we dont have much shops or night life happening near our college we have to travel a little bit just a 2 or 3 km we have everything gym, cafes, restaurants and everything the hostelers can go out but have to be inside the hostel before 9.30PM. if at all they want to go to their home or stay out for a night at a relative house they have to get permission from the hostel warden and the HOD in before hand the famous hangout places inside our college would be the ampitheatre outside girlas hostel and the sitout located at the seconf floor
