Remarks

The University has been accredited â??Aâ?? Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)and it has a lush green campus of 372 acres inside the Hisar city not on the outskirts. As being a state university it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket and charges a nominal fee for the entire course i.e.one fifth of the amount charged by private universities. I want to be near my home during my graduation that's why I opted for this university as a day scholar.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course which they taught is outdated as the program was started in 1995. The University has been following the same course curriculum as that of 1995. There is no industry exposure provided by the University but students themselves can contact the industry and ask permission from them regarding the industrial visits. The permanent faculty in our department were 5 and others were visiting faculty(only a few faculty members had a good grip over their subject)Special mention to- Dr.Alka Bhardwaj(Chairperson) very good in nature.

Internships Opportunities

Glaxosmithkline consumer healthcare, GET(Graduate Engineer trainee) and no stipend was provided, The students themselves had to hunt down for internship as the placement committee is to lazy to do it.

Placement Experience

0.5

Only one company visited during our placements sessions i.e.XALTA beverages. It took 3 students, The company took interview of interested candidates and sort out the best fit for their company only based on interview. The placement committee is super lazy they only post about the positive side of placements not the negative ones. No alumni networks work here. Students in my batch was not that much creative and they were not provided with platform as well. Entrepreneur cell doesn't exist.

College Events

1.5

The campus life is pretty dull in the college as the college doesn't hold any festival other than the annual fest which was two days long and all the colleges which comes under the university comes to compete. This fest was the only one which everyone waits for with eyes wide open.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit cum means scholarship. I have availed this scholarship twice in 2nd and 3rd year. This scholarship is provided to the students who stood first in their respective classes and the students need to be financially weak as well because the name of the scholarship itself indicates topper student who is financially weak. A special mention to the lots of efforts you need to put in order to avail of this scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

The university is rock standing on three hundred seventy two acres of lush green land with 18 Teaching Departments. The sports facility here is very good as the campus is very huge it holds place for every sports and swimming pool is being approved in 2018 as well. The hostel is well equipped with good speed wi-fi and the LAN connection is available in every single classroom as well. The library circular designed three-story large building. The name of the library is placed before the name of great Indian Jurist, Economist, Politician and Social reformer Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The seating capacity of the University Library is 400 seats. The Library runs in two shifts i. e. 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. and 11.00 A.M. to 7.00 P.M. and remains open on Saturdays and Sundays also. The timing of Night Reading Halls is 8 A.M. to 12 Midnight, however during examinations these remain open ROUND THE CLOCK. The lab equipment are outdated and the lab technician doesn't have any idea chemicals or things(equipment's) around him.

Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

i think the students become eligible for placements from the 13th term. our first batch hasn't graduated yet. they are due to graduate in 2026. but certain law firms which have visited our college and have offered internships to our students are Khaitan & Co., Luthra, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, IndusLaw. Honestly, I have not decided yet what career i would want to pursue but yes, having a campus placement in hand definitely gives a sense of security. I may pursue an LLM after this or may enter into litigation.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.
