Course Curriculum Overview

3

The relevance of this course is average but I have interest in Computer field but couldn't make it to cse so that's why i have opted this stream. It's is not good for furthur academic pursuits. They can improve in course curriculum. The minor exam is held 3 times a semester and 2 should must be given by the student and best of 3 will be counted and then major exam is conducted.

Fees and Financial Aid

Guru jambheshvar University annual fee is around 80000. The fee for first semester is little higher than the second semester. Admission is done after HSTES seat allotment. The complete btech duration fee is around lies in range of 3L -4L. The university also provides a fee waiver belonging to a particular Category like SC, TFW etc. But initial admission charged to sc students is 2600. Students belonging to a particular category gets scholarships known as post matric scholarship in university

Campus Life

4

Here alot of cultural fests takes place as per different - different occasions organised by abhivakyti club , goong club and also there is many annual fests etc. And here this year a techfest was also organised (Konark). And many inter-department fests are organised by the departments. You can easily access books or journals from the library, one can borrow 2 books for full semester and can issue other books and should submit it back within 15 days. Classrooms are fully airy and furnished, big and comfortable. Here all types of sports facilities are provided and Annual sports meets is also organised. There are alots of clubs or groups, students can join as per their interests like goonj club for music, Abhivakyti for dance, Navchetna for creative influencer etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

Rooms are quite nice, there is a 4 sharing room in boy's hostel. Meals is not much good and not so poor it's okayish and eatable. One need to apply online from the portal for the Hostel first then need to submit all the docs to the Wardens office to avail the hostel facility. Outside the campus there are alot of pgs where one can live and rooms for rent are also there nearer to the campus.

Admission

I didn't choose this college on purpose. The reason i choose because i am not able to clear the cutoff. My preparation is quite good but due to some reasons i didn't make it on time for the exam and didn't concentarte on the exam properly and that's why I'm here.

Faculty

4

GJUS&T has a lot of faculty member. The ratio of faculty to student is about 30:1. Here is a teacher named Ankur garg sir of pps that i like the most because he is friendly toward the student and there are also many teachers with friendly and helping nature. There isn't particular faculty that i didn't like because faculty here is good and helpful. Number of exam depend upon the semester. Exams are average. Few students passes and few students fail. I will rate it about 6/10 for its relevancy.

Interview Experience

3

Addmission is on the basis of jee mains marks , after that if the seats left then they are filled on the basis of 12th examination percentage. There is a online councelling round for seat allocation, and after that one can also try for further offline campus physical councelling.

Night Life

3

There is a gym for both boys and girls which contains many machines and all types of gym facilities. , library is also there containing approx 400 seats and study hall remains opened all the time. There are 4 Boy's Hostel and 4 Girl's hostel Both are under High security without any negligence or carelessness. There is a cafeteria inside the campus for hangouts and chill, and also there is a shopping complex near the main city gate where we can hangout and can get all the necessity items including stationery items or eatables or other home essentials. And all area around the campus is safe and secure.

Placement Experience:

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

Almost 90 percent of the companies start taking placement colleges from the 7th semester onwards or till the end of the 8th semester in which all the students are placed. And if any student still remains, he applies for off-campus placement, then he also gets placed easily.
