Remarks

The college is situated near to my location. It is also the best university in Eastern India. Also Bhubaneswar is the Capital city of Odisha. It has a good connectivity in India in terms of railway & airport.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is well developed and structured with all necessary research and developments int the field. Academic is good here. Faculties are also good and helpful specially the Mentors. Industrial exposure is provided to the students.

Class Size: 80

Placement Experience

Placements is quite good for the students of CSE/IT. The placement percentage for this branch is 95%. For all other branches the placement percentage is less than 90. Adobe company had given the highest CTC of Rs 39 Lacs to a student here.

College Events

Campus life is awesome. Weather is cool in Bhubaneswar. Mostly the weather here is rainy. Extracurricular activities takes place regularly. KIIT Fest is the major event hosted by the university. Students of all years can actively participate in the events.

Campus Infrastructure is well built and maintained. it has facilities like Sports Centre, Gym, Library, Wi-Fi, gardens and parks for the students. Labs are also well equipped with all necessary instruments and safety equipment.

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.
