I'm pursuing BCA from the college and our college is associated to Sambalpur University,which is one of Odisha's leading university with a syllabus enriching in all the future ready technology with overall development of an individual. There are digital boards and normal boards too.

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

The college provides the a good and affordable fees structure for the bca program the college also provide management courses. The college have a decent infrastructure for the modern IT skills, library and lobby for some extracurricular activities for an overall development of an individual. The connection of the college with market is also well established so that the students can get more and more opportunities once they graduate. The hostel rooms and bathrooms are clean. There are scholarships for the reserved people.

There are alot of functions and seminars held in the college. There is digital and books library both in the college with a lot of genres and subjects. The classroom is well furnished with all the facilities available like digital board and normal boards with projectors. Sports and other activities are also very active in the college. There are groups and clubs in the college for the students leading for an overall development.

The hostel room is big with each having 2 shared,4 shared with larger rooms and bathrooms. The mess is ok ok quality with good variety of food is very different all the day. There is an addmission process for both hostel and mess and fees for that too. Some people have taken pg in the areas nearby like Koel Nagar,Jhirpani,etc.

I gave JEE and applied for csab but I was late still got the BS in data science course of IITM. Yes I was late in the csab round so I didn't got the SLIET,Punjab. I got to know about this college from college dunia only and eligibility was 10+12 pass fo the BCA course there are not special requirements.The addmission process is simple and Diploma students can also take admission easily. The course was decent and affordable honestly anyone can afford this course Instead of a BTech degree someone can opt for a BCA+MCA courses from this college as the college can give a well established knowledge for the current job and skills market for a better future.

1:15 is the faculty ratio.The teachers are good with the students we can ask doubts and all anytime. Our IT faculties are the best and the best one is Alisha ma'am who taught us web technology in the 2nd semester. Well there are no specific as such faculty. Our college have the semester system where each year there are two semesters to be done with 2 internal examination in a semester or a mid semester exam and the semester ends with an end sem examination. The faculties helps us alot to get good cgpa and teach us well for the better understanding of the subjects. The curriculum is also good for the future orientated world.

Ther is a hostel restriction of 9 pm in the boys hostel and security is there for the students with all the facilities of water and mess inside the college campus till 9 pm dinner is done and the Hostel and College gate both are closed.
