- Achievements- The NCC Troop of the College has been consistent in receiving best troop Awards in District level parade at Udit Nagar & RSP parade at Ispat Stadium. In 2007, Six Boys and Four Girls were selected for All India THAL Sainik Camp, held at New Delhi. In the same year, Students of the college was selected for All India MAVALANKAR SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP held at Agra. Sri J Tripathy got gold medal in under 18 Junior National Hockey Championship held at Guntur (A.P).

- Teachers are very good in very aspects as per my thought.
- Campus was also good and clean. New buildings are also getting constructed.
Dislikes
- We don't have any canteen in the campus.
- Teachers should give more attention to the latecomers.
Admission:
I had applied for 2 to 3 colleges at the time of my B.com but I wanted to go to municipal college as I had done my 12th from that college only and I know it is good for commerce and it was challenging for me as the cut off mark was high and I want to do a honours in management but I got selected in 3rd round.
Likes
- BBA department classes need improvement and also a good infrastructure and a sewage system should be improved
- I regularly goes to college but they don't give any importance to bba students they only give importance to b. Com
Dislikes
- BBA department as a bad infrastructure in college
- They just ignore them as like they are other caste

I had also applied in rourkela college and ispat college but muncipal college was a good name at that time so i had taken admission there by registering in 500 rupees and given one year course fee of rupees 19,500

- This college is situated at a prime location in the city of Rourkela which makes it accessible for all.
- The cleanliness and the regularity of the classes and the faculties member support as one of its main highlights.
Dislikes
- Functions and sports need to be arranged in regular basis.
- Study tour need to be arrange for exposure of the students.
Admission:
The admission to this college is very simple one can easily get admitted and the cut of marks actually around 40 to 50% for each subject. One can easily go through the admission process without any difficulties.

- Teaching - the teachers are very supportive and understanding
Dislikes
- Infrastructure - the classroom condition is not good at all
- Washroom- both girls and boys need proper washroom

The admission process was very simple and easy , there was no entrance exams as it was a merit based selection, the application form was provided by the college in the centre and the faculty were very helping and kind the admission fees was around 2000-/ About the improvement, the infrastructure of the college is worse , specially the washrooms otherwise the faculty members are very coordinating and kind

- Some faculties were really good , they teach in a simple way.
- Canteen was hygienic and varities of food available there.
Dislikes
- Girls common room was really unhygienic.
- Lab assistant never guided us about chemicals clearly

Must scored more than 50% Application form will be given by college authority and after filling fees is deposited. Application dates are available on online college website Scholar faculties and nice cantin Girls common room not hygienic

- The sports culture of the college is also good.

- The infrastructure of the college is average.
- The maintenance of the college is also not up to date.
Admission:
The admission process was based on the board marks of class 12 and it didn't need any entrance exam to get admission to this college. We can simply take admission on the basis of your class 12 percentage.

- I liked the faculty because they were very kind nd eager to help
- Extra curricular nd cultural events are organised.
Dislikes
- The library space is very small nd the lighting is also very dark.
- Hostels are not available in the college

One of the best colleges in Rourkela, the college has the best faculty, and it gives us many opportunities to prove ourselves. The professors help a lot with the course, the faculty is very kind nd food. Best experience in the college
Admission:
I think this college creates an environment to study with such ease to tackle not only exams but for your future though. I applied to Government college, Rourkela College and Ispat College but after seeing the momentum over there I think it's better to study at Municipal College. The age limit is not known for me to study here but the admission process was smooth and they helped us to reach the admission room and payment room for further admission process.

Admission into +3 classes and +2 Classes made through an online process adopted by SAMS for different colleges in the state of Odisha. The advertisements are made on newspapers, online websites, and college notice boards. Then the students go to College to addmission the deposit fees. Then their class is started.

The Process of admission is done trough Government online site SAMSODISHA.IN Students get admission according to the criteria based on the college, 12th percentage: Gen- 70% Reserved category- 60% The reason for choosing these college is ASIT is Government college and less fees.
