In the same year, Students of the college was selected for All India MAVALANKAR SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP held at Agra. Sri J Tripathy got gold medal in under 18 Junior National Hockey Championship held at Guntur (A.P).

Same when the class time was going u search where the class was free and then you sit and inform the teacher

Admission:

I chose this college because I was already passed out 12th from this college and all facilities are good specially education and sports and also all programs are celebrated like social or governmental admission process was very easy only documents verification and cash submit cutoff was very high and the eligibility was decided your marks

Campus was also good and clean. New buildings are also getting constructed.

Admission:

I had applied for 2 to 3 colleges at the time of my B.com but I wanted to go to municipal college as I had done my 12th from that college only and I know it is good for commerce and it was challenging for me as the cut off mark was high and I want to do a honours in management but I got selected in 3rd round.

No placement is available at that college the quality of infrastructure is good learning facility is good but BBA students classes are bad
BBA department classes need improvement and also a good infrastructure and a sewage system should be improved

Dislikes

They just ignore them as like they are other caste
No proper sewage sysytem and bad smell occur during classes of BBA
BBA department as a bad infrastructure in college

Admission:

I had also applied in rourkela college and ispat college but muncipal college was a good name at that time so i had taken admission there by registering in 500 rupees and given one year course fee of rupees 19,500

Municipal college - A place to bloom

Likes

This college is situated at a prime location in the city of Rourkela which makes it accessible for all.

Dislikes

Functions and sports need to be arranged in regular basis.
Study tour need to be arrange for exposure of the students.

Admission:

The admission to this college is very simple one can easily get admitted and the cut of marks actually around 40 to 50% for each subject. One can easily go through the admission process without any difficulties.

Infrastructure - the classroom condition is not good at all
Events- college life is boring without any functions , programs, trips etc
Washroom- both girls and boys need proper washroom

Admission:

The admission process was very simple and easy , there was no entrance exams as it was a merit based selection, the application form was provided by the college in the centre and the faculty were very helping and kind the admission fees was around 2000-/ About the improvement, the infrastructure of the college is worse , specially the washrooms otherwise the faculty members are very coordinating and kind

Municipal College, Rourkela opens its admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses soon after the declaration of CHSE Odisha and university results. Applications began in June-July, with merit lists published accordingly.
