Course Curriculum Overview
According to me the institute gives good technical knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineering.But it needs to improve with the traditional drawing technique to be changed with the new emergging technique like solidworks and different case softwares.Therefore it needs more industrial exposure

Yes I did my summer internship in DVC which is also located in durgapur though I didn't get any stipend.
Placement Experience
A lot of company visit our institute which helps in great placement of college. If you are a little conscious with your carrier you will get the placement so need of worry is to get a placement in your desired company bit if you are ready for any company definitely you will get placed reason for it is a mass no. Of company visiting your campus and it includes PSU too
College Events
I was not involved in any extra curricular activities.Though I enjoyed some of cultural fest activities.And one I participated was from club CCA it was good and enjoyable.So it holds good fund though the fund should be properly implemented with both coordination of teacher and students.
Fees and Financial Aid
No although we had those facilities I never applied for one of any loan.But my college had those facilities infact lots of my mate has undertaken loan and that was not a big deal easy procedure to get loan though through my institute
Campus Life
Library and hostel facility needs to be improved though we have it up to the limit a institute with national importance needs alot. Very few books were available in library that was the main issue if you need one you couldn't get from library.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel had though old buildings but was good with and filled with infrastructure and the amount I paid for hostel was enough for those infrastructure.It only need to be improved is intake in room of 3 seater room we we put 4 in a room
