Remarks
The brand name was the major reason. IIM R has grown the fastest in a short span of 10 years. The faculty and the specialization in the stream of human resources was something I found very interesting.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is well structured. Focus is on practical learning with good case studies. Exposure to industry is also provided via visits. Faculties are very approachable and provide assistance when needed.
Placement Experience
Placements are coordinated and managed by the placement and corporate relations committee. Various roles and profiles for streams of marketing,finance, HR and operations are made available. The placement is an important factor which motivated me to join the college.
College Events
Campus life is serene.The hostels are situated about nine kilometres from the college, but amidst beautiful nature. The clubs, committees and independent bodies organize various events. Extracurricular activities are well encouraged and organized.
Hostel Facilities
Single occupancy rooms are available to all. Few rooms have attached bathrooms. Washing machine and water facilities are made available at ease. Transport is available to ferry to and fro hostels. Mess facility is also available in the hostel premises and is common.
