Being the 9th IIM to be established, IIM Ranchi is the fastest growing among the new IIMs. The inclusion in InsideIIM.com "Most desirable B-school' top 20, A Rating of AAA+ by T.I.M.E and top 5 ranked MBA-HRM program by Shiksha and InsideIIM.com is a testimony to the statement. I worked at a manufacturing firm and had to deal closely with technicians/operators and played the role of first line HR for them. This slowly developed interest and empathy towards this field and so decided to specialize in Human Resource Management. IIM Ranchi has the best in class faculties and an intricately designed course curriculum for the MBA-HRM course.
Course Curriculum Overview
Indian Institute of Management Ranchi is home to some of the best faculties having wide experience and also plays host to some visiting faculties from elite B-schools and Industry stalwarts. The curriculum is well designed and often revised to stay updated with changes in the business world. A wide plethora of electives is offered so that a student can select the right mix of subjects and form a solid academic foundation after graduation. Electives on trending topics like 'Digital Marketing,' 'Artificial Intelligence', and more have already been included in the curriculum.
College Events
A premier B-school is known for hosting festivals in a grand fashion, and the same is the case with IIM Ranchi. The year starts with 'AGON-the management fest' of IIM Ranchi, which attracts over 4000-5000 business minds to put their acumen to test and win exciting prices. The two-day event includes various offline and online events on all facets of the business, including finance, operations, HR, strategy, etc.
Campus Life
The campus is well equipped with a library with a huge collection of both paperback and digital content and have access to terminals like Bloomberg. Every class and even the hostel is Wi-Fi enabled. A lab for conducting simulations and also for psychometric and aptitude tests is available.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is situated at the National Sports Housing complex with a picturesque backdrop. It feels like home living in society with local residents. The rooms are spacious with many having a gallery and attached washrooms having geysers. There is Washing on alternate floors and also paid washing ironing facility.
