Remarks

Computer Science teachers are very very smart and inspiring. Some teachers were slightly below the mark and failed to create interest. Library is filled only with text books. Very dull. Should have other non curricullar books as well to inspire spending more time in there.

AIEEE, nits are great institutes with good infrastructure.

There is nearly hundred percent placement. I was placed after the 6th sem itself based on merit without interview.

College Events

Aarohi is an intercollege cultural festival with big budgets and large scale. Axis is the technical festival that is highly prestigious with very smart people participating from all over the country.

A Balanced Engineering Experience with Good Campus LIfe and Supportive Faculty at RIT

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.

Not a dream college but a best college that is unexpected

So my first priority was artificial integellence and data science ..but I didn't get it..I also have an interest in electronics and I finally get it. their 1:60 ratio of faculty to student and qualification of faulty is mostly ME /MTech and some are PhD holders.

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. I wanted to do Mechanical engineering.I have applied to top NIT's like Trichy ,warangal,rourkel and VNIT. I finally got vnit mechanical in the 3rd round of JOSAA councilling.
