Student's Review On Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology - [MAIT], New Delhi

Ranked among top institutes for B. Tech in IPU. Good exposure with companies and good placement records. Also it was located in Delhi where a student also have exposure several other opportunities to grow and rise there career.

I believe IPU course isn't that up to date. They still use old course and pattern which really need to be updated as early as possible. But faculty is really good and hard working. They care for students and devote there best for students.

Yes I'm pursuing my internship during this Lockdown from PEPCODING education pvt. Ltd. Where I'm learning data structures and algorithms in java.

Since my third year just started I don't have enough exposure to placements in MAIT. However according to our placed seniors placements in MAIT are good especially for CS and IT students. various companies visit our college during drives like globallogic, sapient, ZS, DELOITTE. best of them is amazon which offers around 17 lac ctc. However in previous year a MAIT student was also placed in Microsoft(43 lac ctc).

Campus life is MAIT is average. Annual fest of the college isn't good at all. It used to be held during college hours and no big or known celeb ever visited college during fest. If you wish to enjoy fests and campus life then sorry this college isn't for you.

I haven't seen or know any scholarship facilities that our College provides. There are some government schemes for students but those are very difficult to avail as they have various criteria for being eligible to get scholarship. I also tried them myself but failed to receive any scholarship from government.

Campus has one sports ground, one volley ball court, indoor sports room, gymnasium. Not sure of campus but hostels have Wi-Fi facilities. To be honest library is really nice and large. Labs are provided with all equipments required for experiments and these are refreshed every year.

Hostel on the other hand is really good. However due to low seats it isn't easy to avail hostel.only if you are from larger distances or you have good source can avail you hostel in MAIT. Mess food is really good as compared with other colleges. PG's are also there but these are cheaper than hostel and food quality isn't that good there. There is no girls hostel in college. if you are a girl you are bound to take PG.
