Remarks

Well managed college with ethics. Managed by Jesit fathers a 500 year old congregation.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is scope for research, also depends on students interest. We have semester system. Evaluation is both cumulative and summative. We have continues assessment based on class performance and also final exam at the end. We have credits for all the extra curicular activities we participate in.

Placement Experience

4.5

Not the best like very few get more than 10 lack pacakage. Most opt for higher education. All will not get jobs in placement.

College Events

4

Visages is inter collegeate cultural festival it is for 2 days. We will have participation in dance, singing, skit, treasure hunt. Ends with DJ night. We also have Prathibha which is a intra collegiate function. We also have annual sports meet. We have athletics, cricket, football etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, mode of payment is online/bank.They also give confession for the needy. Compared to other colleges, fee is reasonable for the quality of education we get here. College show transpetancy in fee-breakdown. No additional fee. Programs fee is around 1,50,000

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't avail any scholarship. But college gives free mid day meals for the needy. There is fee reduction also

Campus Life

In sciences male female ratio is 3:7.In commarce 6:4. Students come mostly from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu. College is very popular among North-East students. College has uniform policy for all students. We have good extracurricular life like compulsory village visit, project work etc.

Hostel Facilities

No, I am commuting from home. But I have seen hostel in college it is spacious. Nice food. But limited seat. We pay around 6000 monthly. Compared to outside it is a better option. It is safe and disciplined.

Alumni/Alumna

It is a 137 year old college, so we have a strong alumni network. They are very supportive in placement, knowledge sharing.

Admission

I am interested in Science. I got admission through interview and my pass percentage in B. Sc. I selected this based on Alumni feedback. Apply online, interview, interview with Principal. Fee payment. Orientation and admission. Good NAAC grading. 6th best college in India.

Faculty

5

Very good, well qualified. They have semester wise assessment based on students feedback. Department wise assessment based on HOD and other staff members. Research wise feedback based on there publications. Random class visit by the management. Teachers are asked to constantly upgrade themselves by attending various programs.

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.
