MESMERIZING

I gave entrance test for CUSAT CAT examination in which I got 926 rank. I chose Computer Science and Engineering because i had an interest in software related courses.The CUSAT CAT is nation wide test and it is also hels in some Foreign countries.

Every year start-up summit is organised where many local start-up companies such as easy soft technologies,entero software pvt ltd.,etc come to recruit learning students as interns. They offer an average stipend for recruits around 6-8k per month.

Placements here are very good as most of the students get placed in their 7th semesters. Few days back TCS came here for recruitment and recruited 226 students out of 330 registered students maximum by any other companies this year. TCS offered a package of 3.33 lakhs per annum.

Our college conducts many festivals yearly. This year in february we had our 3-day technical festival named XPLENDOR. I was conducting a coding competition in that. It was participated by many students from different colleges. Onam is a major festival here. Every year we conduct a major onam festival on the eve of onam.

The fee structure is economical as compared to other colleges.Its feasible.The fee amount per semester is 35,500 INR.

Loans are provided by all the major nationalised banks across INDIA for the student who needs it. College rewards Semester toppers with scholarships of 30,000 INR for every branch and and additional 10,000 INR if he/she is also an university topper. The SC and ST students are also provided with some sort of reservation.

Campus life is good.There are students from many parts of our country ,so its facinating to interact and be friends with them. Gender Ratio differs from branch to branch in Mechanical Engineering department it is in 1:60 ratio whereas in IT,CS,ECE,EEE,CIVILEngineering departments it is almost 50:50. Campus is very much diverse as it is full of greenary.Workshops are very frequent here which are organized by various departments with their point of interest to facilitate students.

The alumni network and also the college seniors are very much co-operative.The alumni meet is held every year .Those passed out seniors who visit share their experiences with us and give valuable suggestions and ideas related to placements and interviews.They even help us on calls ,emails and on social networks.They also share with us their personal experience in the job field and what they used to do in their college life.
