Entrance Preview

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. My rank was around 7000. I chose this college because at that time the placement records were skyhigh and nearly incomparable to other private colleges, specially for core branches. I heard that the infrastructure is really satisfactory. And Also its the only engineering college in Asansol .

Internships Opportunities

I am from mechanical, and we undergone training in Indian railways ,and internship in a medium enterprise nearby. The stipend was not satisfactory though. Many renowned companies came from core sectors along with it sectors. Like tcs,tractor India,linde,voith,excel dynamics etc and so on.

Placement Experience

Among 120 students from mechanical, around 50 were placed. Some of the contending students got even more than one jobs. From it sector,many companies came ,like tcs,mind tree, hp, IBM etc. And in mechanical, there were linde,tractor India, boc, tech mahindrasummary,pinnacle.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was approximately 40000 per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan can be available from any bank for this course. It's a well established college. There was also fee wavier scheme for economically backward student as well as some scholarships were also provided for the needy ones.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are off the charts, with 367 offers being made to 361 students in the recent edition. The student can seat for internshps offered by diffent companies that visit th campus in their pre-final year, while they are eligible to seat for the placements in their final year only. Apart from this there also other restrictions for seating in the placements like Cg should be above 8.5 and there should not have been any disciplinary charges against you, etc. The companies visiting the college also have their own preferences for selecting the students. In 2024-25 the highest CTC is nearly 2.5 crores p.a. offered to a student of CS branch. The EC department getting the most number of offers i.e. 73.
