Remarks

VIT has good placements,many courses, good diversity, co-curricular activities and an amazing experienced faculty. Every course in college is of equal importance. We have wonderful labs and good wifi. It is very beautiful and safe campus. The hostel facilities are amazing. Our campus also has a mini hospital within that works 24/7. This is why I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is really good. We have experienced faculty and the syllabus is updated. Our syllabus is exactly same as IIT's. We have industry tours as well. The labs are well equipped and we have smart classrooms. All our professors are wonderful, Prof. Mahesh Ganesh Pillai sir is really amazing. He teaches very well and is very suportive. HOD, Prof. Shishir Kumar Behra sir and my Proctor, Prof. Darmendra Kumar sir are supportive as well.

A lot of companies visit our college every year. The placement process is written and then a personal interview. Many get placed approx 90%. Few companies who come to our campus are Microsoft, Amazon, google, myntra, wipro, skillup, apollo, thinkinov solutions etc.

College Events

We have two big fests. One is technical called Gravitas and cultural called Riviera. Both of them are equally fun filled with learning. Pro shows are amazing. Students from across Indian colleges participate in these fests. We have 250 plus clubs and chapters. They help us learn management and leadership qualities.

Campus Life

The campus is really beautiful. We have swimming pools, tennis and badminton courts in our hostels. We have basket ball courts are also available. Our library is huge and beautiful. It has lot of resources like books, e-books, research papers and an exclusive computer lab inside with high speed wifi. Labs are well equipped.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are beautiful. We have single, double, 4 bedded and 6 bedded rooms. We have apartment hostels too. We have gyms and food courts inside. The hostel fees ranges from 30k to 1lk depends on ac and non ac rooms. The mess has good hygienic food offering variety of dishes every day.

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.

the honest vit review.

Viteee 2021 was held in online mode. there were many cases of cheating because of which the administration then didn't allow zooming in and showed the registration number as the watermark in multiple places. the cutoff went really high as the exam was held before jee and everyone wanted to secure a seat in a good private college. the exam server was v poor it had even crashed in one slot. all the details about the admission fees dates and forms were available on the official site. I am aware of students who are aware of nothing but still are in category 1 in CSE because they cheated and weren't caught, this really boils my blood because even after studying so hard I got category 2. the entrance is usually held offline mode but this was held in online mode and was nothing next to faithfully done....Read More
