Remarks

Deemed to be university, government, less fees, placement of computer science was best so I choses this branch. Quite place. Faculties are too supportive. My senior was there due to some of his influence.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is not too updated, academics is good, some of the faculties are great like damanjeet sir of computer science. There was not too much industry exposure, but conventional syllabus is quite good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 156000 per year

Placement Experience

It's not too good as it should be. In big companies only TCS and Infosys visited. You have to go for off campus for big companies like hp and Adobe. Bus would be provided by college. Alumni network is not too good as it should be.

College Events

Extracurricular depends upon you here, how interested you are. You will get money to organise extra curricular here if you have such skills to convince them by your idea. Sports are more popular here specially cricket and badminton.

Fees and Financial Aid

Top three student of every class are awarded by a little amount which I am not sure. But if you are bihar and from minority you will get the moma scholarship most probably.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is quite big, it is in 467 acres, WiFi speed is good but daily limit is 1gb. Library size is not big enough according to number of students. Labs are filled with equipments. Sports facilities is good, you will get ground for every game here.

Hostel Facilities

Availing hostel facilities is easy. It means you will get hostel for so sure. Hostel fees is added in tuition fee. You only have to pay for monthly food. For first, second and third year you will have to share 3 seater after that for final year it would be single seater. There is quite less concept of pg there. Only the people who sacked out from hostel lives there.

Pros and Cons of LPU

Placement Experience:

In our course in bsc agriculture the placement is not that much that much good but in other courses like B.tech CSE in that courses there are the very high placements one of our senior get 2.5 CR package from LPU and one of our senior also get 3 crore package this is highest package and the average package of B.tech CSE is 5 to 10 lakh If the campus is not offering placement to me I will go for government exams or going for entrepreneurship also offers good package but not that much good the bsc agriculture sector wants needs more improve improvement in placement cell yeah that's all but if a person wants to do semester exchange also in foreign countries so over University will also provide some guidance to him and they will support the students to go for an exchange for foreign semester exchange programs and there are two many things also

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

However some units feel outdated and could be revised to match the latest industry standards . I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
