Remarks

It is govt college affiliated to punjabi university. Fee is affordable. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. It was established in 1948.It is co-ed college. Commerce and banking sector courses and pg courses are offered.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are five types of courses each course has its own curriculum. As teacher student ratio is well so teacher are able to pay attention to every student. Faculties are aware of how to complete syllabous on time without compromising on the quality of teaching.

Placement Experience

The college is very good for placements and for commerce students most of the placements are off campus. For BCA students companies visit the campus with very good package of 3.5-5lpa depending upon the profile offered.

College Events

Campus environment is very good and you will find students from all kinds of background. The environment is that of a typical punjabi college i.e. full of fun and masti. Annunal function is celebrated on a large level. All festivals are celebrated here.

Campus Life

Campus is not so big but many sports facilities are available. There is a big canteen and library. Library is air-conditioned and has all the books. Indoor games are also available. Labs (for bca students) are well equipped with latest computers.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

To give it clear picture i ll rate the curriculum based on the standard followed by tier-1 institutes like iits overall the relavamce is high but requires a lot of self drive 1. relivance and comprehensive the curriculum is designed around first principles instead of teaching how to use specific software this dept make it os comprehensive 2. exam frequency and difficulty the exam system is marthon not a sprint you are constantly being tested

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

My experience at Bikram college of commerce

The college is well known for its reputation for accepting high merit students. So the students only with marks more than 90% usually get admission in the college. You have to apply on centralized portal called punjab admission portal to get admission into the college, if you're shortlisted you will be contacted by college to do other formalities.
