About my college

Likes

I like the infrastructure here but not that good
Food around here is good as compared to others
Teachers are good with some students here

Dislikes

Teachers behavior is not good here with students
Campus here is very small like a school.
They don't have any placement here in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Tuition fees here is very less as compared to other colleges and it is the only college for commerce in the area. I would suggest that there would be less seminars and more extra curriculum activities.

My experience at Bikram college of commerce

Likes

Friendly atmosphere at the campus, Nice professors
Library: Amrita Pritam library provides useful books for the course.
Well maintained campus, college campus is always clean.

Dislikes

Professors do teach way to fast than students can get.
Students have to suffer in summers with extreme heat
No security guards, easy access for strangers to enter college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is not relevant anymore. BCA is like new BA, but a sophisticated one. Everybody's doing BCA nowadays. I can't figure out the reason. But skill based learning is lacking and sadly this course is providing nothing but degree holding unskilled graduates (most of them). Though some who really explore the skills and work on themselves are achieving good jobs.

Likes

Affordability of the course -everyone can afford
Staff -good teaching staff all are phds in their field
Coperative nature- all the staff are very coperative in nature

Dislikes

Campus- Campus of the college is very small
Social links- Social activities least interested no curriculam activites or events
Less courses- only 2-3 courses available

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will like to tell that college need to improve thier social relationships because student needs that alomg with study events need to be organized.Fate and other functions must be organized by the faculty

Likes

I think the girls to boys ratio is one of the best thing about this college
The teachers are very helpful and have good nature and also help you to guide for future
There is no ragging like events happened in our college and there is no problem of drugs too

Dislikes

I think the syllabus are not up to date with today's technology the syllabus is kinda too old
The library also don't have good books which are related with students syllabus
Sometimes they don't give information that today is holiday and waste your time

I think I sometimes regret my decision to choose this course due to the curriculum The curriculum doesn't prepare you for real-world as there syllabus is very old I think the curriculum should be up to dated with real world so students can be prepare for real-world problems The frequency of exams is good but I don't like the exam checking of punjabi university patiala as I get a very low marks in result even though I know I write very good and deserve more marks

Likes

Yah that's great enough though I love it's building structure
Good in rules and guidelines as there is proper rules to follow in which I impressed
Teachers and staff very friendly as they taught good for us

Dislikes

There are not much interest in other activities or competition level
There is less sports meets and competitions
There is not much funds provide to students in other fileds

Yes I choose course BCA which is good in future as now a days there is A.I generation and in this we learn about back hand front hand development coding how the system works and much more this helps us to understand real world application to taught

Moon in the dark

Likes

I like the work of staff,cleanliness and teaching techniques of the faculty
All the rooms,labs,offices,washrooms are properly maintained
Out of 100 students 39 students got theor placement in high reputated firms

Dislikes

Parking facilities because that area is very conjusted

Placement Experience:

There are many facilities for the placement of students after every session students are guided on how to get placements when the companies and firms reach our college to pick up the best. my plan after completion of the degree is to join ca course with a master of commerce.

It is a govt College. It is NAAC accredited. Fee is affordable. It is near my house. It was established in 1948.It comes under punjabi university patiala. It is co-education college. It is best college for commerce. It produce many CA's.

It is govt college affiliated to punjabi university. Fee is affordable. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. It was established in 1948.It is co-ed college. Commerce and banking sector courses and pg courses are offered.

Our college is Good for commerce student. But for computer department they are not good as they are commerce Department we want that the is partially good for the both department not any differences come under departments
