Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is industry oriented. It specializes in IBM, Data Warehousing and Business Analytics. The exam structure is as follows: Excluding Audit and Elective Courses, each subject has 3 CIEs (Continuous Internal Examination) and 1 ESE (End Semester Exam).

Placement Experience

4

We have been given campus placements and the institutions that come to accept students are well known and popular. The average package for adults is 5-6 lakhs per year. The college offers internships through various industries such as Unity, C4I4, NTU, Singapore and Hof University in Germany. The opportunities are great, but the costs seem to be higher for general students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fee structure is neither expensive nor less. This is 2 to 2.5 lakh a year. The college receives half of the first semester of a year and asks when the second semester of the year begins. Fees can be paid using checks, demand drafts and online banking.

Campus Life

The college has a Robotic Club, Cultural Club (Etcetera) and Photography Club. Sports take place shortly before the Vishwan Fest, so gifts can be given during the fest. The sport includes cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, table tennis and basketball. Laboratories are well prepared and have a good network connection to the IT sector.

Admission

Earlier we visited the College and they checked the MH-CET and JEE marks for eligibility. We pay a 25% semester fee to confirm the seat in a given course. On the first day, they held an impulse to introduce the course and how the college was going to conduct the course, including course structure and curriculum.

Faculty

4

Faculty is average. Some instructors encourage you to work more on practical applications of what we learn throughout the course, while others prefer to teach only by going through slides and referring to textbook paragraphs. It is a balanced view of good and evil.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
