Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college has illuminous working with very good forms and companies or even working independently. Such aluminies actively keep on providing and updating the placement cell of the college with the internship opportunities in an around their offices. The college has very good contacts with the seniors of Rizwan merchant and Associates, which is a very good criminal law firm in Mumbai. The civil practising lawyers cannot be counted, there are many good opportunities that the college provides in the civil field of law. The college has good contacts with anagha legal with is renowned family law firm in Mumbai. Beyond that the colleges always helpful to the students who approach the placement cell for the internship opportunities. The maximum type and which is provided to the interns is 5 thousand but mostly the stipend and is only provided to the long term interns.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is very genuine as thinking of the infrastructure and the facilities provided. We are required to pay 19,000 for the 5 year course and 21,000 for the three year course. The best part is that there are no hidden charges. We are required to pay the university exam charges which is Around 4,500 in the final year only. Other than that, everything is inclusive in the fees, no separate admission charges etc are required to be paid to the College. The college is a semi government gujrati minority college. Admission

I had applied for many colleges like symboises, Christ, I had also appeared for CLAT, which is the entrance test to get into the National Law University. I had qualified both symboises and Christ University exam. I was also offered a scholarship of 40% in Christ University but the reason I did not choose the same is because it was way to far away from my hometown. Being a resident of Haryana I was looking for a place which was well connected with my hometown and Bombay is one of them. Symbiosis was also a good choice to make but the fees was too high for the curriculum. On the other hand KES is the best choice I could have made and at no point have I regretted my decision to choose KES

Faculty

5

The faculty is good and approachable when it comes to the permanent staff. The visiting faculty is usually the practicing advocates excelling in a particular field which they're required to teach the students in. Because of this, the students get the practical knowledge along with the theory which is necessary for a professional course. The ratio remains 1:40. I like almost all the professors but Vishalakshi ma'am was my personal favourite. She was a go to person for every inconvenience related to studies or even personal. She treated each one of us like her own kids. However, I can barely think of any professor I did not like. The semester exams are taken twice a year. Usually May and December. The difficulty level is moderate. However, the college conducts internal exams once every semester, the difficulty level of which is easy to moderate.

Night Life

3

The locality around the college is majorly how was the hold vicinity and a market area. The college is situated at the heart of Kandivali and is very close to the railway station making it easier for the students to come from different places. The college is not provide hostel to its students but the campus life is good and the timings are very convenient the college opens at around 7:00 a.m. in the morning and is available for the students to sit till around 5 in the evening. The famous places to hangout around the college are baithak cafe, hangout bakery, and the very famous Mahavir Nagar of Kandivali is very close to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic
