Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of this Diploma course was two years. There were few examinations every year, that we had to give. But, our professors had also given us many projects and assignments to do. Even sometimes we also had to do field works.

Placement Experience

4

We got quite satisfactory placement offers from our institution. Some reputed research companies had visited our college during placements and offered us job with quite good salary. Our professors had also helped us a lot in getting the best opportunities.

College Events

4.5

Our seniors had given us a very nice welcome party in our first year. We got to know each other in that party and enjoyed a lot. The college had also organized some cultural programs every year. Most of us used to participate in singing and dancing competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We had to pay the fees on semester basis. There were two semesters in the entire course. We had to pay 26,000 rupees before every semester. My entire course fees was 52,000, which was reasonable for this course.

Campus Life

Our college laboratories were very well equipped with all the facilities that were required for our studies. Our college used to arrange workshops and training programs which helped us a lot in our studies and also in getting the placements.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors were very supportive and helpful. They were never rude to us. They helped us a lot in our studies by sharing their study materials with us. I had a very satisfactory relationship with our seniors. Some of them are still in touch with me.

Admission

I had always wanted to do my Post Graduation Diploma from this institution. It is one of the best institutions for studying Oceanography. After completing my graduation in Oceanography, I took an admission in this college. My selection was through a merit list, which was prepared by the college faculty.

Faculty

5

Our professors were just amazing. They were very friendly and compassionate to all of us. Whenever we needed their support, they were always there. They had helped us in our academics, in every way possible. All the other faculty members were also very good.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.
