Course Curriculum Overview

PhD science is a doctorate level program in the field of science. The course has the duration of 2 years. The program involves deep research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

Placement Experience

The institution is excellent in research and provides with all the necessary equipments to the students for doing the research. There are internships and job opportunities for the students. They also receive good stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the program is around 40 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the program. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The institution has various labs and seminar halls, conference rooms for the students. They also have a well defined library. Various activities are held at the institution like sports, debates, and programs.

Admission

The National Institute of Oceanography, is an autonomous research organization in India to undertake scientific research and studies of special oceanographic features of the Northern Indian Ocean. To be a part of this institution, the candidate must have post graduate degree. Then they will have to apply for the PhD program and will be selected on the basis of entrance exam and interview.

Faculty

The faculty of the institution is very well qualified and experienced. They have PhD degrees and also an experience in the field. They help and guide the students and provide with good resources too.

Placement Experience:

there's practice school option in semester 4 which allows students to go to corporate company and work as an intern, giving students exposure to work experience. this can lead to a FTE placement as well. Maintaining 8+ GPA is very important in getting placed. I plan to get placed and work in AI roles.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Bits goa brief review

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good because we have two compulsory internships called practice school to make us industry ready after the second year summer for 2 months and one semester in the 4th or 5th year placements start since 7th semester itself were most get offers in PPO thright the internships. 248 companies visited along with 631 students placed the average is 2083000 and median is 1650000. 76 percent of students got placed highest was 80lpa. I plan to get a job
