The college is one of the finest college in Goa. It has all the facilities which no college would have and all of them are available for the students. Not only has that it also provided the best atmosphere for a student to study.

Our course curriculum is designed in a way that the young researchers like us comprehend the ocean in a complete manner. All the studies related to ocean are linked in the course syllabus. The exams are taken on semester basis i.e 6 months which makes 2 semester per year and 6 semester for 3 years.

They many recruitment s within the institute itself. The recruit which the institute provides are Scientist, Trainee Scientist, Technical Staff, and Support staff. So as students we don’t have to worry about the placements after the course completion. If we have achieved well in the academics the job is already waiting for us.

The fees for all the three years is Rs.42, 000 which is affordable. The fees per year is Rs. 14,000 which is inclusive of the fees of the two semesters tuition fees per semester. The tuition fees are only Rs.7000.

We have many different research and development cells like Biological Oceanography, Chemical Oceanography, Marine Archaeology, and many more. Many activities happen in those research and development cell throughout the year by which we get a chance to be a part of the various big research works, this leads to benefit us in different ways.

The eligibility criteria for the institute for a student is that he/she should have a Master’s degree with National level fellowship from various funding agencies like UGC,CSIR,DSR, etc. Or INSPIRE or any other equivalent fellowship. They also conduct interviews which are held once in the year in the month of June or July for the admission for the class starting in August.

The faculty is very helpful and understanding. All of them are highly qualified and our best at whatever they teach us. We don’t have to hesitate even once to ask our doubts. All our doubts are cleared and also they make sure each and everything very clearly.
