Course Curriculum Overview

This course of accessory design is a 4 year course which focuses on in-depth study of fashion accessory design process. This course helps students to work on jewellery, home accessories, interiors, craft and many more. It's core strengths are product design, display design, product graphics, material knowledge etc.

Placement Experience

Yes, NIFT gives you the opportunity to work for big brands. Recruiters from huge companies are called for placements. They provide on campus placements where we can apply and attend interviews. Other pre placement offer is where we get training.

College Events

They organise lots of events and activities. Events like seminars, workshops, campaign etc takes place regularly. They also organise an event ""spectrum"". Also, activities like poster competition, craft cluster initiatives, projects etc also takes place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For my course of accessory design, fee of NIFT is ?2,70,900 for 1st year. For all the bachelor courses of NIFT, fees is almost the same. It changes for all 4 years but is approx 2-3 lakhs. Tuition, exam and other fees is included in this.

Campus Life

NIFT has got well equipped classrooms that are spacious as well. They have a library with lots of books, magazines, newspapers, database, forecasts etc. They provide us with a design studio which helps us in working on our creativity.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, Hostel facilities are available for all girl students of all years in this campus. Hostel rooms are well furnished and clean. They take care of sanitation and hygiene in hostels. There are 88 hostel rooms for girls with the capacity of 163 girls.

Admission

Admission in NIFT for any campus is based an entrance test. It depends on if it is a bachelors or masters course. I had to give entrance exam of CAT and GAT followed by a situation test for my course of accessory design.

Faculty

Faculty of NIFT is filled with experienced and qualified professors. They are highly understanding and educated and have in depth knowledge about their subject. They are supportive at times and will help you whenever needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. Placement Experience:

From the first semester itself, the students can be a part of campus placement. I have no idea about the companies visited but I Heard that every year some international companies visits to offer some jobs. I have no idea about the highest and average package of the job which is offered by companies I can say 50-60 percent of the students gets a placement who applied for the job I will be doing masters or I will be starting my own business and if you want to help me then please mail me so that i can start from now and i want to start as early as possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the different types of interest that I have are present here in this course, and as I have said earlier that I have a keen interest in Law I don't have to think twice to choose this course. The curriculum is not up to the mark for applications in the real world, there are few discrepancies and inorder to match up the level outside we have to put a lot of efforts and leave no opportunities when we get them. Moot Courts should be conducted more often.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculums include theory and clinics. Theory is done in the morning and clinics in the noon and practical in the afternoon. This curriculum is quite good to prepare us to become a good doctor, both in studies and in clinical practice. As the world is evolving in terms of technology, I believe there must be a more innovative way of teaching making use of all the technologies available for teaching such as PowerPoint, 3d models (real and virtual), etc. There must also be proper ventilation, cooling system, etc to help the students cope up with the weather of the college. There are 4 exams in a year which to me are too much. Besides the NEET PG exam will be MCQs so what is the point of doing objective questions and answers.

Remarks:

NIT Meghalaya is a decent institute as par as studies are concerned. You will have ample of chance to study and learn new stuffs, being a new institute you get a lot of stuffs and initiatives to be done and handled single handy which gives another chance not only to learn and showcase your skills but also to use it in future for organizing similar stuffs in future.Being a MeghNITe , it was always a cutting edge for me in interviews and people used to literally appreciate the exposure I had even from being a remote located college of India ( though it was not pretty different to what a normal NITian would had in other NIT).If you do same thing in limited resources to what your competitor does with ample of resources, even having same outcome it?Ûªs more likely to get appreciated and this is what happens when you are studying at new NIT.Coming to infrastructure : NIT M has decent labs ( comparable to even many of old IITs ) ,mix of youth ,energetic and quite experienced pool of faculties , prime location and technically sound students as college.I would suggest to go ahead with decision and consider it a fair Chance to study at NITM (Provided you do not have any better option).

Internships At NIFT

Nift is the best and topmost college in India. Nift Shillong ranks 3th last on the top nift campuses. The teaching staff is amazing with the best-qualified faculties. The environment is very inspiring and beautiful but it is away from the main city so it is isolated. You can apply for nift Delhi placements from Shillong as well hence it is the best college.
