Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum they teach is way to relevant to our future as they are heading towards digital and technology and looking into future they teach us about our future and gives us knowledge about it on what and how we can be a great leader.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am foundation batch student, I really don't know this much but the internships are held in the 8th semester for like 3-4 months and later the students come for jury. the companies which come our mostly new companies
Placement Experience
From 8th semester the students are eligible for the placement and internship is for atleast 4 months before final exams. The companies which come our MANISH MALHOTRA, FLIPKART,AMAZON, WIPRO. 85% of the students gets placement. My plans after degree are to get a job and experience and later have my own business.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees was 75,000 for 1st semester and I was in general, the fees for my batchmates are the same, it is 75,000 only but I don't know for OBC/SC/ST. They might also have the same fees as mine.
Campus Life
Nift has way too many. festival and events. In every week we occur with a event and the management is so nice. We get each and every book in library and we have access for ebooks too. There are 7 clubs in total in which i am in photography club.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel Faculty is very nice, but the food out there is sometimes oily, and they provide each and every food item. Registration for hostel was online through website.The room has one almirah, one bed, one table and chair.
Admission
NIFT shillong is one of the best college in graphic design. It gives us many opportunities and compared to any other college, it still holds a strong position in the technical area. I never got any rejection from other colleges infact I got admission in SID PUNE.
Faculty
The faculty out there is very experienced and very helpful. They teach us about how we can learn from our experience and merge it with creativity. The exams held are mid term, end term both for 30 marks each and later we have jury for 40 marks, in total we have 60+40=100. Till now rarely students have failed.
