Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is of 4 academic years and the course curriculum is well mapped to make sure the students gather every single information and experience in this field. The curriculum is pretty manageable and enjoyable. Afterall you are chasing your dreams.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are quite nice almost 80% of the students gets placed in MNC firms with average package of 4 LPA. Companies like Raymond, Reliance, Fab India, and other companies in textile industry. Most of the students gets internships by the college. They maximum stipend is 4000-5000 Rs. per month, but most of the students gets internships with no stipend provided at all by the companies and the brands.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well, the fee structure is kind of expensive. Being a government college the fees does seem to be like pretty expensive. The overall cost is around 11.09lakhs in 4 years. I am not complaining about the facilities at all but the fee structure for a student who is coming from not so good economical background is a bit challenging.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities needs improvement. There are only table tennis and volleyball if you seek for extracurricular activities. Besides that the college conducts many event and seminars.

Admission

The admission process is based on the entrance examination. The students should have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. After that they can apply for the entrance examination of NIFT. The students meeting the cut off percentage in the entrance are eligible for the counselling round. If they you are through in the counselling round you will be eligible to choose the course and the college in which you want to study further. The application mode is completely online. For B.Des. In Textile Designing there is only 30 seats.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are very well qualified and experienced. Love their teaching methods and interacting techniques. The college gives a lot of exposure to the students as it is in an industrial area. The faculties are friendly and they are always ready to solve the doubts of the students. Overall the faculties are very good.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
