Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum is very well structured and even revised too. the exam structure is mainly practical & jury. written exams are really very rare though. the institution focuses more on the practical knowledge & application of the works.
Placement Experience
there are many placement weeks held in the NIFT institutions such as Mumbai, Delhi & Bangalore etc. campus placement didn't occur in NFT kannur . though the internships are mandatory & is done in the 3rd & 4th year.
College Events
nation wide event named as 'CONVERGE' takes place in every year around December. all the NIFT centers across India will be participating for this specific event . there is also another event named 'SPECTRUM' which takes place once in the month of February & march .
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fee structure is usually considered to be expensive but in my opinion its really reasonable. for the total of 4 years there need to be a total of 10-11 lacs in terms of fees. there are scholarships & merits to also for BPLs.
Campus Life
the campus life is pretty fun and indulge -worthy too, straight from 8 am to 8 pm , Monday to Saturday. students are given the utmost freedom in the campus. the gender ratio is unfair i.e. 70% girls & 30% boys.
Admission
i was a strong NIFT enthusiast , i was a regular visitor to their official website, and that played a major role of me getting there. the exam for it happen around the month of February , i cleared the entrance exam then i was called for a counselling too.
Faculty
the faculties are well qualified and about the field , they also have the working experience of the in-market leading fashion brands & companies.any campus related activity are being initiated by them at first, so quite promising staff.
