Course Curriculum Overview

Master of science in counselling psychology is a professional course which has the duration of 2 years and follows semester system. The course structure is very good and focuses on practical study and research. The days are usually hectic and exams are also tiring.

There are abundant of opportunities for the students in order to enhance the knowledge and experience of the students and help them become professionals. There are internships and job opportunities too for the students. The institution provides with good training programs too.

there will be 2 semesters per year. before attending a semester, the student need to complete 2 sessional exam which will be for 30 marks. if is student is unable to clear their arrear in 1st year, they will not be able to promoted to 3rd year. if a student is unable to clear their arrear in 2nd year, they will not get promoted to 4th year. this is called break system. syllabus will be tough but the course is worth it for notes, every student must refer library books.

Admission is soley based on your CUET PG score. I am a general category student, and I got 244 in psychology in CUET PG 2024 out of 300. The cut off for general category in this institution for this year was around 225. I had applied to Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Pondicherry University and I didn't get into any of these as their cut offs were too high. I did get into Central University of Punjab, Central University of Haryana and Central University of South Bihar. The admission process is entirely online, you only have to verify your documents in person when you come to college. I didn't select Central University of Punjab or Haryana as it was too far from my house. RGNIYD is also a Institute of National Importance so this lead me to choose this college. Once you get your CUET PG score, you have to apply to different colleges with your course, there was no application fees for RGNIYD....Read More
