Remarks

The college is in its budding phase. it has just started a few years back but has gained a lot of recognition in just a very short period of time. I would definitely recommend this college as it helps in all round development of the student.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my stream is completely research based and most of our college hours are spent in the practical lab. Sometimes it is hectic because there are long class durations. Exams are conducted on a regular basis by the University.

Placement Experience

4

We are the first batch of the college, so let's see what kind of placement opportunities does the college offer us. The Bangalore branch of the University is well known for placements, therefore we are also hoping it to be exactly the same....

College Events

4.5

We have a lot of fests and events conducted by the college. The one that was celebrated with immense enthusiasm was onam. it is a South Indian festival so it was celebrated on a large scale basis and everybody enjoyed a lot. Saturday is activity day and most of the events take place on that day itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since, forensic science course is not really offered at many places in Kerala. So the college has domination and the fees is a little bit high as compared to other courses provided. It is a new Institute also, therefore it is is well known that the fee structure will be a little bit expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the University is new, no scholarship facilities have been started yet. But if any student wishes to study on education loan, then he/ she can get it sanctioned from recognised Bank like Andhra Bank, State Bank of India, or any other bank.

Campus Life

We have Labs and practicals each and every day because it is included in our course of study. But apart from that we have seminars and workshops and few competitions as well. The ratio of boys and girls is almost equal in the college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is under construction but it has provided basic necessities to the students like a bed, cupboard and table and chair. the food provided by the hostel is ok but not that tasty. We have a lot of fun here in the hostel.

Admission

Jain University is one of those rare universities that offer the course of forensic science in the state of Kerala. Therefore, admission process is done on the basis of 12th percentage and an entrance examination conducted by the university itself.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college, no doubt is very educated and capable. They provide us with a lot of knowledge and are always ready to answer all our queries. They are very supportive as well as helpful with the course study and syllabus.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.
