Course Curriculum Overview
I pursued Mathematic so my course curriculum that was divided into three years has subjects like Applied mathematics, statistics etc. I really liked the course structure because it balanced out the load evenly. Exams happened at the end of every semester
Placement Experience
Pub Kamrup College, being a government college, does not have a lot of placement opportunities however the college prepares you for teaching jobs and other government jobs. Mostly students want to go for masters after graduation so very less number of people actually seek for jobs.
College Events
A lot of events happened at our college. Celebrations of major festivals, workshops, fashion shows, farewell, freshers' etc. Our faculty was very encouraging of co curricular activities. Guest lectures also happened very regularly
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for most Three Year Courses are approximately 4000-8000 rupees a year. I paid close to 12000 for my course and this included the tuition fees and development fees. For girls, the tuition fees is waved off.
Campus Life
Our college has a very rich culture, so music and other performing arts were highly encouraged. We had a lot of dance and music functions as well as competitions hosted in our college. Apart from that, we had good sports teams.
Admission
Pub Kamrup College has a very standard admission procedure. There is an online application form that needs to be submitted with certain documents and based on your selection, you name comes in the merit list.
Faculty
Our faculty was very very good. I had the pleasure of studying under some of the best teachers. They were extremely diligent and knowledgeable and helped students in every way possible. They also took doubt clearing classes.
