Course Curriculum Overview

This course of M.sc on Data Science and Analytics is of 2 years of duration. There are several subjects one needs to study such as statistics , probability and also many more. In this course we had to do many computer based programmes.

Placement Experience

Jain university gives very good placements to the students . There were almost 5500 placements organised by the university so far. There are many students who got jobs and placements from this university and succeeded with flying colors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this university is very feasible that one can pursue any kind of course here. Compared to the other universities the annual fees of this course is not so expensive . It was easy for me to take this course because the fees structure is very reasonable.

Campus Life

Yes many extracurricular activities happens in our university. We play indoor and outdoor games in the campus. There is library facility also and also many kinds of sports are being played in this university.

Hostel Facilities

Yes there is hostel facility. I stay at the hostel and it is great . There are sharing rooms of 3-4 students. We have many facilities like hot water ,4 times food and also we have attached bathrooms with rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni students are very motivating. Our university invites them for inspiring us . They frequently visit our university. The senior students are also very supportive and helpful. They provide us books and also notes for the assignments.

Admission

The eligibility criteria of this university for this course is passing mark of at least 50% in graduation. And the university also takes an admission test for selecting the candidates for this course. The admission test is the Jain entrance test.

Faculty

The faculty is very good in this university. They not only help the students for the exams and assignments but also train us for placement interviews. The faculties are well experienced and are always ready for our doubts. They make us study so hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
