Dileep Kumar's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Pondicherry

College management is the worst of all, no proper response, we didn't get the refund amount till today as it has passed over 6 months from the day of completion of our college.

AIEEE(IIT MAINS) I have joined in this college, because compared to other NIT's it is near to my home. As it is a newly established college we didn't get any facilities, no proper infrastructure, mostly temporary faculty.But self learning was enabled, and a few good faculty who guided us.

As it is an old curriculum, which doesn't contain recent technologies, not even useful for an industry standard. Curriculum should be revised, Most of the courses are unknown to the lecturers who are teaching us, they are only learning it from the reference books a day or two before and teaching us, to frank dumping it in our minds.

I have interned in 2 companies namely FOOFYS Solutions & Triveni Fashions .Both of them I have got through online, No company came for internships. I got Rs 14000/- as stipend.

Expensive, facilities provided and fee being collected is incomparable. Too high fees, hostel+ tuition fee - 43000 per semester for OBC & OC candidate. For an year around 86000 Rs/- i sbeing collected as fee.

No scholarship is being provided by college, as Merit scholarship is being offered in IIT's we don't have any such and loan is provided by SBI.

Alumni association is formed as just only 2 batches are passed out. Most of the senior students are in contact. As far a good it is building up.Some of the Alumni are in other countries pursuing their higher studies.

2- cycle Test & 1 Semester exam, as per as Labs is concerned, 1 model exam and one final exam, we don't have proper infra structure for labs, so some of the labs are being conducted in other local colleges.

After 5 Years of establishment of college, now we have got permanent faculty, till then most of them are temporary faculty, who have just finished their M.Tech in some local college worth for a penny.
