Entrance Preview

MHTCET 199/200, Very good autonomous college in Maharashtra so opted for it.Was Interested in that course so chose it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum available on college site.Programming methodology & Automobile were my electives. Theroy of Machines, Automobile, Machine Design, Heat transfer, Manufacturing Engineering, Graphics etc were covered in detail.

Internships Opportunities

ARAI, John Deere, Eaton, Kirloskar, Cummins, Loreal, Morgan stanley etc and many more companies came to college for internship offers and also offered PPOs to selected students. Stipend offered was in the range of 0 to 55000rs.

Placement Experience

Placements were very good. Bajaj 7.5 lpa, Mercedes Benz 6.8 lpa, Tata Tech. 5.5 lpa, Eaton 4.8 lpa, John Deere 4.8lpa, DAR 4lpa, Whirlpool 4.5 lpa, Crompton Greaves 4.8 lpa, Larsen & Tourbro 4.5 lac .

College Events

Mindspark - Biggest technical event in Maharashtra in state colleges Participation from all over stateZEST - Sport event etc& there are many others held But these are the 2 biggest events.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available for different students. Central Sector, Rajashri Shahu Maharaj, Minority etc are the ones I knew. But there are many others.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilites are as good as you would get. That also in only rs 10000 to 15000. Mess food is also very good. Few people get bored with mess food no matter how good it is due to its repetition. But its very good and affordable as well.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini association is there. And meetings are held every year. I am just one year old alumini. So dont have much idea about it as of now. But seniors do help college passouts in further things & guide regarding career opportunities.

Faculty

The faculty was very good, college attendance was mandatory & discipline was must. Also encouraged to try out things. Practical education was equally important as therotical one.

“Golden Days of PICT College Life”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics and telecommunication engineering is best branch. And there is also best teaching of hardware as well as software and also in which attendance is mandatory. They shows how to use the academics with real world applications. By taking hardware practicals. I think no need of improvement but i gives improvement in attendance. Please don't take attendance mandatory.

How is Wit solapur ?

Placement Experience:

After completing the 6th semester students can apply for campus placements. The placement is average or I may say good although the highest package is not that good it is around 13 lpa. The average package is 3.75 lpa. Around 70 9f students get placed.

The admission process in COEP college was very much sorted and when any student come for the admission the faculties here or the members of the admission speak very fluently and softly with the student and the student clearly gets what he/she exactly want to do in the admission process. Currenlty I am in the one of the best college in Maharashtra which u get on your cet marks also you can take the admission through jee marks while taking admission through the online mode of cet the top option i selected was coep and also the cet ranked it as top since the cut off for the cse of general category was 99.78 percentile i don't want to go into another college since i wanted a top college and top college coz my cet score was 99.84 so i applied for top 3 colleges of maharashtra coep,vjti and Walcand where i got the admission in coep in second round through tfws.
