Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery course is of five years in total. There are no NRI seats or management quota in this course. The main curriculum is set by top faculties of the country who have high knowledge in MBBS.

Placement Experience

There is an internship option that is compulsory for everyone to go through. For the placement, you can reach any hospital and start working there as a doctor. They pay you during the internship with a good stipend of Rs 8,500 per month

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it, a govt college the fees per year is ?20,000 which doesn't include hostel charges and generally optional for every student to opt for. There is additional charges for mess facilities and also which very good in quality.

Campus Life

There are many fests on various disciplines like cultural, social, and also technical. These events see many participants from all over the state who come to participate in these fests. There are around equal number of girls and boys in the college which is generally not seen in colleges.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and try helping in each of us just like a good companion. They help in exams by giving books, important chapters. They tell us different career options to pursue after this degree also.

Admission

The admission to this college is through the NEET UG exam which is 720 marks. You need to qualify the cutoff to be eligible for applying to this college. Counseling occurs in rounds in which one is required to fill the choices of colleges and based on your merit, you will be allotted a seat.

It is quite amazing. Every department in each year has trained faculty and teaches in a very good way. They share the experiences they have gone through and also demonstrate skills to tackle real-life scenarios.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

The Peaceful journey of a important chapter of life

Placement Experience:

The placements were smooth and easy, although small companies approached for the placement and the packages were not too much still it was fine. Companies like ICICI Bank, IFFCO TOKIO, BAJAJ, MARUTI approached. The percentage of students getting placement was low around 15-20 percent. My plans after degree is to start preparing for civil services exam

My honest review about my Dispur law college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I'm interested in pursuing. I want to be educated and get knowledge to be able to help others or myself in times of difficulties that involve court representation. Faculty includes good and qualified teachers, some are better than others but overall it depends upon the student to make the best out of any situation. I will take admitted to another college but that's my opinion. All teachers have different teaching methods. Some are good at speaking skills and communication skills but some lack them. Term exams are easy if you study that's the point and passing will also be easy if you study well enough. It's not as difficult in the first few semesters but as we approach the mid-semester it gets real serious to pay attention in the class and grasp the complicated terms of the law.

Great college for MBBS in Assam

You've to clear NEET-UG to get into our college. SMCH is one of the top medical colleges in Assam. My first preference during counseling was SMCH but I got rejected in 1st counseling. But eventually got it in the 2nd counseling. I choose SMCH because it's nearest to my house and locality.
