Course Curriculum Overview

Till now, I have noted that the curriculum followed by the university is decent and upgraded to the latest. The exam structure is again very convenient and not very complex to understand. All the laboratories are appropriately equipped and in good condition.

Placement Experience

Although I don't know much about the placements and other opportunities as I am yet to graduate, I have surely seen many of my seniors getting placed in good places after their course. Many renowned names have also reached to the campus for recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for my M.Sc course in Chemistry is 5,372 INR. The cost combines both the year of my course. It included everything from tuition fees, admission fees, and other fees within the stated cost. I was pretty satisfied with the structure as it wasn't very costly.

Campus Life

Numerous extra curricular activities like functions, sports, and other events keeps on happening within the campus. I have never noted any kind of discrimination of any basis. The environment in the campus is friendly and supportive.

Alumni/Alumna

All the seniors of the campus are very co-operative and helpful. They have helped me adapt to the college environment and helped my academics as well. Their positive attitude has encouraged me all the time. Thus, I have made many senior friends on campus.

Admission

For my M.Sc program, the admission process included a written test and viva conducted by the university itself. 60% of the Pg seats are reserved for NBU college students and the remaining are for other universities.

Faculty

The college professors and other members are qualified and proficient in approach. Also, they have been very supportive of the students. There are many faculty members that have certainly helped me adapt to the environment and score well in my semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

I apply for other colleges also as I didn't get much facilities there like comprehensive studying library, canteens facilities, etc. I don't get rejection from the other colleges that I have applied the reasons behind not choosing those is the facilities that I didn't found . The admission process was online; we needed to fill out our details through portals, and there was a specific verification date when we called regarding the verification of our application. After that, if everything was okay, then our admission was confirmed. Then, after a few months, standalone admission was introduced in my college, which helped many students get their pending admission.
