Course Curriculum Overview
It is a 8 sem program curriculum is vast with 2 months summer internship and last sem is industry training(graduation program). We learnt about diifferent fields like visual merchandising, set design, prodyct design, bags and shoe design, furniture and lighting design.
Internships Opportunities
United colors of benetton, shoe and bag design, stipend- 10000home shop 18, visual merchandising, stipend 10000, vikram sharma design, spatial design, stipend -7000, Bharat pottery, ceramic pottery design, stipend - 8000.
Placement Experience
Not very good with on campus placement as not many companies come to recruit people off campus placements are much better in case of money as well as company all 30 people in our class got placed with good packages.
College Events
College fest every year called spectrum sports events of all centres called converge desi day for traditional outfits fashion shows, dj nights, freshers party and farewell party.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is a little expensive as compared to other government owned colleges its almost a lakh a month i.e. around 7-8 lakhs for the whole course.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didnt avail any scholarship or loan and many banks do give student loan for this program also there are some subsidies available for low income families.
Campus Life
Campus life is not so good as there is not much time left to spare campus life is cool every one minds there own business good people from different backgrounds.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel at delhi centre so students have to stay in nearby pg's or have to stay on rent mess is ok limited food menu but pocket friendly.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are strong personalities in the industry today good designers like manish arora, nida mehmood etc although they do not come to college to interact and share their experiences with the students.
Exam Structure
Many tests at regular basis called spot evaluations practical tests, juries, presentations and group projects and also some written exams.
Faculty
Faculty is good all of them are well experienced and have a strong background in the design field. They are helpful and also guide us throughout the course.
