Remarks

overall it is a nice college. the infrastructure of the college is very moderna nd the overall facilities are also great . the campus life is enjoyable and students get practical exposure for studies too.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is like any other typical b.tech college.the whole course contains 8 semester and has 2 semester per year. the exams are also conducted every semester wise and results are conducted within 2 months .

Placement Experience

the students do get internship here by the college.well the placements are not very high here, but there are good companies that sometimes visit for mass recruitment and also offer nice packages to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fees here is very feasible . the fees here is rs.45450 and for girls is 50 % discount for them.also the fees needs to be paid totally before sitting for exams. i think according to the facilities provided here fees here is very affordable.

Campus Life

various types of cultural fests and extracurricular activities are celebrated here through out the year. fresher's day , teacher's day , festivals like durga puja,republic day is also celebrated here .

Admission

I got admission here on the basis of joint entrance examination (jee) marks . also the college has a eligibility criteria of 75 percent in higher secondary examination.after that i got admission here.

the faculty here are very highly educated and have phds in their subjects. they are very supportive and helpful towards us students and also gives us motivation for the future . they also give great guidance.

Growth and Ground reality : five year at HPNLU

Placement Experience:

the following is the bare bones of accommodations in HPNLU lavery centre HPNLU placements and carrer prospects :-the HPNLU students are usually allowed to have campus placements staring in the 9th semester .the placement cell is only quite young ,and thus developing at NLU . Boutique law firms and companies such as link legal and lakshmikumaran and sridharan also conduct top recruiting , and a few of the students also conduct top recruiting ,and a few of the students also get the PPO,s after the internship . packages the largest packages are normally between 10-12 LPA,with an average package of between 6-7 LPA placement percentage approximately 40-50 % of students seeking corporate jobs end up being placed off campus . plans after degree :on a personal note ,i will be exploring the world of litigation or the courts ,as the degree offerings provided by the university provide a good base in regards to competitive tests .

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application.
