College remains as the only refferal for the hospital and college in and around the Assam . As it is govt based ,low socio economic people has the healthcare benefit schemes. College also has practical based classes in the hospital hence I feel this suits best for the futher career too.

This college focuses much on research and paper publications. Labs and exams are not hectic as the course is much based on practical knowledge. Exams are conducted semester wise. Thesis publication is compulsory. Focus much on hands on practice.

Placements are not available as it's a medical degree but the job opportunities are quiet in demand as the O&G is always in demand for women n child health purpose. College provide internships and stipend is based on according to industry standards.

Events are conducted year wise. Golden jubliee celebrations are held recently. All students participate actively and win awards. Campus is really big and has auditoriums where few classes and functions are conducted. Promotions are high.

Fee structure is feasible as it is based on merit quota i.e 53k for the whole three years. We have 3 recognised seats for this course and it is based on year wise payments and there will be no issue. If in cases it's all India quota fee depends accordingly , quiet expensive.

Course itself on merit based so scholarship facility is not available. If students need educational loan , college helps in giving letter with full details to submit it in the bank. Few people who are under India quota avails this offer mostly.

College conducts all the extra curricular activities. Sports fest is conducted every year. College has a huge ground hence all the outdoor activities takes place over there. Ethnicity is practised based on Assamic style as mostly everyone are from the Northern parts of India. There's no sexual discrimination. Anti ragging committee is present.

When it comes to Hostel , it has both the girls and boys accomodation. UG and PG has separate facilites according to the number of people. Food will be good and there's no need to worry about. And no ragging takes place inside the premises.

This is one of the renowned college in the northern East part of India. This is a government cum private run college and hospital. I got into this course as I'm much interested in treating women health issues. Admission process is based on your MBBS merit and must be eligible with the PG NEET. The course is under MCI act - 85% state quota and 15% all india quota.

Teachers are well qualified. Especially our faculty in gynecology Dr P Nath has given five publication based on O&G. Faculty more than 100 are present in the campus and they always strive hard to support us. They guides us really well to achieve our goals and especially during exams.
