Course Curriculum Overview
It pioneered the 3 year DM/MCh program at a time when the typical course was two years before MCI mandated that all such training programs should be three years duration. It was the first Indian institution to start DM courses in clinical immunology, medical Genetics and MCh in endocrine surgery.
Placement Experience
It is one of the best medical colleges in our country. It is located in the heart of Lucknow. It enables skill learning and median earning of a doctor from KGMU is 8.5 LPA. KGMU offers many courses in medicine and specialisation. Each year students from all India are allotted with an internship course of 1 year.
College Events
Annual fest and function was regular feature. Inter college activity used to be the big event.Events are organised at our college every week. College campus is crowded. The government provide scholarship for us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is one of the important aspects. It has scholarships available for the students. The fees is moderate. I was glad to get admission in this college. The hostel and mess fees are to be paid differently.
Campus Life
Classrooms are well-decorated and clean. Wi-Fi facility is available, so students don't get hamper in studying. Labs are equipped with chemicals and electronics. The library is full of books of standardised authors. Food served in the canteen and mess is pure and hygienic.
Admission
NEET PG is compulsory. Candidate must have completed MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate. n order to become eligible for counseling, candidate must have obtained minimum 50 percentile. The physical presence is necessary for the admission.
Faculty
Teachers and professors here are highly qualified, and their innovative teaching methodologies help you grasp better. Especially, faculty members of clinical subjects are wonderful. The drawback will be less emphasis on research activities, but apart from that, it's in every aspirant's list.
