My college journey

The college has a very good environment. The college is good in all aspects including the weather conditions, student environment, education and an all round development. The college has been graded A by NAAC and is approved by the UGC.

Since I am in undergraduate level, the duration of my course is for 3 years. During the period of 3 years, the course curriculum is designed to have 6 semesters. We have theoretical as well as practical lab classes. Labs were taken very often as of my course is a practical one. There were a two exams held every year which were quite tough

Since I am at undergraduate level in graduation and have to further study post graduation, therefore I do not know much about the placement cell. But the summer internships in the college are very exquisite. Maximum of the students got summer internships by the college minimum stipend of 4000 to 5000 rupees.

A lot of educational seminar and events are taken up by the college every year. Many educated guests and people come to attend unsupervise them. other cultural fests like college day, annual day extra also held by the college.

The first year fees for zoology honours in the college is 17000 rupees andThe second year and third year fees is approximately 11500 rupees which makes the total fees up to 39750 rupees. The fee includes tuition fee admission fee, exam fee and other miscellaneous fees.

The scholarship is provided by the state government to which the student belongs. it is only applicable to SC ST students and there is no loan available by the college to the students. the amount of scholarship completely depends on the course or stream that is opted by the student.

A lot of extra curricular activities is held by the college. sports day is a very important part for the students in the college. Students those who have opted for practical subjects like zoology, botany, psychology, etc are frequently provided by lab facilities. Number of clubs and interactive committees are also present in the college and students can get admitted to them as per their interest.

The college hostel has very good infrastructure and provides all the essential facilities. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls and the fees of the hostel ranges tour around rupees 5000 per month.

I got to know about this college through one of its seminar in my school. Then I visited its official website and found out its details. For admission I have to go through an admission test that was completely objective and was quite easy. After passing in that test, I got admission into the college.

The faculty of the college is highly educated and skilled. They have helped the students throughout the semesters and never failed to clear the doubts in which ever field they required. Most of the faculties in the college are post graduated for PhD in the particular field.
