Entrance Preview

I had given AIEEE exam,and i had got 48 marks in that,so was not been able to get a government engineering college,so then i opted for graphic era university. As it is one of the best college of uttrakhand.the seats for different courses were allocated according to the rank in the AIEEE exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was of total four years/eight semester,around six to seven subjects every semester,with two exams per subject per semester. In addition seminars on different topics and projects. The syllabus was so arranged that it matches with the syllabus of the government institutions and also helpful in further competetive exams.

Internships Opportunities

In case of internship,companies do not come to campus rathers students decide that in which company they want to do internship. For that college provides them with a bonafide which they show in the company and pursue their internship further. So in case of internship the college do not interfere much. Stipend also depends on the company whether they want to give stipend or not.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure now is a bit expensive but earlier it was not such. Now the fee for B.tech course is about 88000/semester,but earlier it was around 68000/semester. This fee structure is the sum total of all the additional fee like,library fee,exam fee,insurance fee,etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students were given scholarship of around 5000-12500/semester on the basis of their performance in acadmics. In sports also scholarships were given. Top scorer of competetive exams are also given scholarships.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college had a alumini network,all the pass out students working in different companies are part of it. Every year college arrange alumini meet where all the alumini are invited .

Exam Structure

In total every semester around 15 exams along with practicals are conducted but a sufficient amount of time is given to prepare for exams. Thus we can say that neither it is very hectic nor relaxing but can be managed .

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Life around Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

I choose this college because it is a GFTIs college and here the curriculum is good and structured in a right direction . IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.
