The college was built with a vision of providing medical education to aspiring students from rural areas. The college aims to inculcate ethical values and principles in the students enabling them to the serve the society selflessly.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a three year specialization course which focuses entirely on the subject that the subject has picked to specialize in.I had picked anatomy and for the next 3 years, the curriculum only had research and practical training on that.
Placement Experience
The students have their training in the training hospital attached to the college. The hospital has doctors who guide us through our training and teach us all specifications, after which we can even join as doctors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the MD in Anatomy course is Rs.87,000 for the students who got in through the entrance test, and Rs,3,00,000 for the students who got in through the management quota. The fee is quite affordable on both ends.
Campus Life
The college has a full filled library with all sorts of booked for research, leisure, academic, etc. The library has internet access for computer use. The laboratories are fully equipped with modern facilities. There is a cafeteria, a MSG stadium for sports, a common room for both boy and girls, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The college also has a hostel for the students with good living conditions and facilities. The hostel provides different occupancy rooms such as single, double and triple and the fee depends on it. The minimum is 75,000 and the maximum is 1,50,000/- for the hostel fee.
Admission
I got admission in the college for the PG Diploma course through the State Government CET exam. The students can also give COMED K which has a higher reservation percentage for admission in the college.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are very skilled and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. They are all renowned doctors and medical practitioners with degrees from India and abroad. They take personal interest in our research work and guide us through it.
