I took AIEEE and scored 1611 state rank in Uttarakhand .I opted for this college as it was and is one of the most popular private institution in Uttarakhand.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was equivalent to Uttar Pradesh Technical University curriculum. It was a well balanced curriculum when it comes to covering the overall branch of engineering but there was very less scope of getting into a specialized zone.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship drive during our time at college. Students mostly have to arrange for internship or summer training on their own and there will be hardly any stipend paid for this.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities were good but were mostly limited to Information Technology companies such as Infosys, Accenture and wipro. There used to be very few campus placements from core companies at that time, I think the situation is improving now.
College Events
Every year college used to organize a tech cum cultural fest. Lot of technical and cultural events used to take place in which students from all colleges were invited. It used to be a 3 to 4 days event which used to conclude with a celebrity night. We also use to have kavi sammelan once every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships started with college becoming the deemed university based on the ranks secured by candidates in competitive exams and also based on their performance in semester exams. Other than than only state provide scholarships were available for a few category of students.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not that strong as of now but the college management is trying to make it better by organizing alumni meets all across India and even abroad.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was as per the university guidelines. One main exam each semester and 2 mid term unit tests every semester. Exams also include practical exams and assignments.
Faculty
The faculty was mostly retired faculty of IITs and other prestigious institutes when it comes to being HOD of a department. Rest of the faculty was mostly masters or PHDs from regular colleges. A few of them were from IITs and other prestigious institutions as well.
