Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is definitely useful. Duration of the Cours is Five and a half years, which include one year internship. The course curriculum is completely designed by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Placement Experience

It's a medical college, and you won't run out of opportunities. You can choose from the government as well as private companies. There are many options, you can join as a private doctor, and we can also have a boat clinic. The lowest salary offered would be Rs. 35,000 per month. The highest salary offered will be 1 lac per month depending on your duty schedule.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is moderate. You also get scholarship if you have scored good marks in NEET. There are many events and visits for which you have to pay extra. There is also Hostel and mess whose fees are also different.

Campus Life

Wi-Fi, labs, library, and medical facilities are available in the college. Quality of classrooms needs to be improved, and the hostel rooms are really good. Canteens are available in the entire college area. The infrastructure needs to be improved as it is a really old college.

Hostel Facilities

Silchar Medical College is a residential college having accommodation for undergraduate and postgraduate of both male and female students. Every hostel has its own messing and canteen arrangements with dining hall having accommodation for 25% for the occupants at a given time.

Admission

Being a doctor is everyones dream.And my came true because of this college. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under graduate, NEET-UG is compulsory to get into the college. One has to go to college to do all the formalities.

Faculty

Teachers in the college are highly qualified. They are well-educated, but not too friendly. You have to buy study materials on your own. Mostly, teachers give paper presentations using a projector. Wards are good. They provide a solid basic foundation in your initial days.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

The Peaceful journey of a important chapter of life

Placement Experience:

The placements were smooth and easy, although small companies approached for the placement and the packages were not too much still it was fine. Companies like ICICI Bank, IFFCO TOKIO, BAJAJ, MARUTI approached. The percentage of students getting placement was low around 15-20 percent. My plans after degree is to start preparing for civil services exam

My honest review about my Dispur law college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I'm interested in pursuing. I want to be educated and get knowledge to be able to help others or myself in times of difficulties that involve court representation. Faculty includes good and qualified teachers, some are better than others but overall it depends upon the student to make the best out of any situation. I will take admitted to another college but that's my opinion. All teachers have different teaching methods. Some are good at speaking skills and communication skills but some lack them. Term exams are easy if you study that's the point and passing will also be easy if you study well enough. It's not as difficult in the first few semesters but as we approach the mid-semester it gets real serious to pay attention in the class and grasp the complicated terms of the law.

Great college for MBBS in Assam

You've to clear NEET-UG to get into our college. SMCH is one of the top medical colleges in Assam. My first preference during counseling was SMCH but I got rejected in 1st counseling. But eventually got it in the 2nd counseling. I choose SMCH because it's nearest to my house and locality.
