Entrance Preview
I took the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) as an entrance examination, because that was the only entrance examination.
Placement Experience
The complete batch of 240 was placed in 1.5 days. Almost all the top banks, consulting companies and FMCG companies came for placements. Placements were in Finance, Marketing, Operations and Project Mangement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was 4 lakh rupees over the entire 2 years. The structure was such that it had to be paid every Trimester, and it was made feasible by student loan options that were available on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Punjab National Bank offered an educational loan which could be payed off later from the salary, can't recall any scholarships though.
Campus Life
Of 240 students, about 20 were women, but life was good. There were hostel parties in individual hostels every week, and an insti party every month. There was a society for Exchange Programs with International Universities.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors were very helpful, especially after the introduction session. Seniors in the same hostel became friends later on. After graduation, there is a good network of alumni parties.
Faculty
Almost all the faculty - without exception - were either engineering or science graduates from premier institutes, followed by Masters and PhD in Management, and between 5 - 10 years of industry experience.
