- Silent Environment inside the campus....
- Located in urban area and close to market
- Fees structure is reasonable...in compared to other colleges
Dislikes
- Most of the places are dirty...sanitation is required
- Infrastructure is very old..need some modern infrastructure
- No generator in hostels and classrooms..no water cooler also..we have to purchase water for drinking
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosen this course to get into corporate sector and getting job faster in comparison to other courses...the curriculum prepares u well for the real world application and academics...In my opinion some certification courses should be added in every semester to learn new skills..and teaching methods should also be improve..must focus on practical knowledge rather than theoretical and focus on learning on new skills...exams held in every 6 months..one mid and one sem...
Internships Opportunities
Companies come here for summer internship like dhanuka, upl, parag, agrostar, etc. Companies give average stipend of 10k..projects given under internship is marketing and sales and other operations...
Placement Experience
In 3rd semester students become eligible for placements...many companies comes like savannah seeds,parag,planet spark,dhanuka,upl etc ...Highest package was 9.5 lakh and average 3.5 lakhs...most of the students get placed but at lower packages
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fees is around 32k....yearly it will be around 65k...scholarship facility is also available for st sc and obc students..which is around 60-65k. If u will take hostel and mess facility then the total fees will be around 1 lakh per semester...hostel fees for 1st sem is 6k...and mess fees charge is 40 rs per diet for normal and 80 for special.
Campus Life
No idea of fest..freshers happens..as it is a government university festivals are almost NIL...books availability is also good but not all books are available...no proper classroom for MBA ...no smart classes...5-6 clubs are running like academic, sports , cultural, Environment etc
Hostel Facilities
Two person in one room...two ply beds..two cemented recks...quality of meal is good in compare to other mess...two special diets in one week...daal rice both the times..registration process for hostel is done at the hostel itself..hostels are affordable..and if u wanted to take pg..u can get in Nawabganj
Admission
I also applied in cuet pg..also got a call from bhu mabm course...but not able to convert..was also selected in central university of punjab...but it was too far and placements were also same as my university..i have choosen this clg because it is the oldest university and it has good name..and also companies come here...alumini is also strong...admission is done through upcatet and icar pg..in upcatet after clearing exam..u will be called for gd pi and after merit list is prepared..and in icar pg only single exam
Faculty
There are 5 faculties..all are guest faculties...There is one mid exam and one sem in 6 months..normally the batch size is 70-80..faculties are good...but not that much...no proper classrooms and even no smartclasses....
Interview Experience
Admission is done through upcatet and icar pg...in upcatet u have to pass exam and after that gd pi is held..and in icar pg single exam is held..topics were mainly from agribusiness, Agriculture and entrepreneurship.
Night Life
No gym...one average cafeteria and library is also not good that much...lacking resources...for boys no restrictions in coming and going..for girls 6pm in evening is the last time for entrance..no famous hangouts place..place is safe to roam around at night inside the campus.
