Pra's Review On East Calcutta Girls College - [ECGC], Kolkata

The course was of 2 years and was offered in full time regular mode. It dealt in fundamental aspects of Education and its related factors. We got to Learn about Education Psychology, value education, human rights, environmental education, lie sciences and much more.

Our college does not offer much internships and placements but the students from our domain may go for pursuing M.Phil., or Ph.D. in the subject. Many students are also serving as educational administrators, counsellors or researchers in the field of education.

The fee was as less as it could be for a course. The fee was low and reasonable as it was a government college. They only charged us the course fee and there were no hidden charges. The fee for 2 years course was not much.

Sports meet, seminars, workshops were usually conducted. Various cultural programs, annual functions are celebrated with students participating from almost every department. All the activities used to be fun.

I took the form from the college office and submitted after filling all the details I had to submit it along with application fee. The college admission process was based on marks obtained in graduation.

The faculty came to class ready to deal with the topic and were interested in their subject matter. They used the class time efficiently. They used to present in an organized manner so students can see the relationships within the material.
