My college experience

The structure of the curriculum is very flexible that contains basic subjects like topography , deep analysis of continents, rainfall distribution and the distribution of minerals and resources in the first two semesters. In the last semester more practical subjects were introduced in the curriculum.

The placements are just average here. The highest package for our year was 7 lakhs per year and the lowest package was approx 2 lakhs per year. No internship opportunities are provided. In our batch just 50% of students were placed but the placements are improving year after year.

The total fees for the 3 yer course is just INR 4,815. The fees is very feasible as compared with other colleges. The yearly fees is approx INR 1,655 which includes admission, exam and other fees as well. The best quality of education is provided here at lowest possible rates.

The scenic beauty here is very captivating and provided a good environment for me to study here. Many other facilities like ventilated classrooms and labs are also available. In all this is a decent college for BA in Geography at nominal cost. Many clubs of the college organizes various fests, which helped me a lot during my college years.

My college is a government sponsored college which is affiliated to the unit of North Bengal. Admission here in this college is purely based on the norms laid by NBU. I applied online on the website and the admission here is done on the basis of 12th class merit followed by an online counselling.

We have outstanding faculty members from the best educational institutions around the country. Teachers always provide their constant support and guidance to all the students.The professors here are full of enthusiasm and are always there to provide help when we take our ideas to them.
