Remarks

University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur is a Public university exclusively dedicated to the study and research of agricultural sciences. In terms of infrastructure, the university is quite sound. Events like agri-workshop, Foundation Day, Republic Day etc are organised by the University.

Course Curriculum Overview

The structure of the program is crafted well, keeping in mind the needs of the industry and the current scenario of the domain. The exams are conducted semester wise and we have to sit for 2 end semesters per year, apart from tests and assignments.

Placement Experience

The university provides us with internship opportunities although, the students are allowed to venture outside the campus look for internships themselves. The same goes for job opportunities. The students generally take up government jobs, or they look for suitable jobs for themselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee at the university is not too heft or exorbitant. It is pretty feasible and decent. It is a 4 year program and the fee per year is ?7,638 which is required to be submitted at the beginning of the academic year.

Campus Life

Various clubs of the university like the cultural club, the horticulture club, sports club etc provides room for extra-curricular activities. The labs at the college are tidy and neat with all up to date equipment.

Admission

For admission in the college, I had to appear for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test which needs to be cleared. To apply for it, the eligibility criteria is 10+2 with 45% marks in the finals which should include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

The faculty of the college have vast domain knowledge and in hand experience of research analysis in agricultural Sciences. The professors believe in imparting practical knowledge to the students in dominion of Applied science.

Not so good this year. But previously many companies like wipro , HCl , Schneider , TCS , technologics , BEL and many other visited to our college Highest package in our college is 18LPA for mechanical branch. Average package is around 4-5LPA
