My college life review

The college teaches students socially and morally responsible to make them valuable and respected citizens of our society. The course gives the knowledge of seed breeding, agricultural activities, soil variety and so much related to the farm. It also provides knowledge about pulse production and improving nutritional security and sustainability of the production base. The college equips students with strong skill sets to compete/face the real world.

Placements are also quite decent in this college and most of the companies come to this place. The institute has developed a well-furnished training and communication centre with 16 rooms for facilitating lodging cum boarding of national and international trainees. The institute is also imparting training to research officers and other developmental officers of foreign countries.

To complete a course of PhD, you don't need to pay any fees, in return, the college will help you get scholarships from the government. I get around INR 10000 per month from the college to take care of my expenditure in or outside the campus. which is very good for the students.

our college has established an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 and Physical containment facility for transgenic plants. The institute has created a state of the art museum depicting pulse technologies developed by the institute. There are so many functions including annual workshops, conferences, foundation day celebration, Hindi diwas, official congregation and other staff welfare functions organised and celebrated.

I got admission in this college after completing my M.sc from Delhi university. Kanpur is my hometown so I decided to pursue my PhD from Indian Institute of Pulses Research. A candidate must have passed his Masters from a government college in India.

My college faculty members are a very supportive and very good person in my life, college faculty is each and every student detailed instructed for good guidance. Faculty provides Expert guest lectures, industrial training tours, seminar, a workshop for right aptitude development of students.
